How Priligy dapoxetine works

Priligy for premature ejaculation

Priligy tablets are available in 30mg and 60mg strengths. Usually a 30mg tablet is prescribed but at times, a higher dose of 60mg is prescribed if the patient notices only little improvement in performance. Only one capsule per day should be taken 2-3 hours before intended sexual activity. It should never be taken more than once a day. It may be taken before or after meals.

How Priligy dapoxetine works?

Priligy dapoxetine comes from the family of medications known as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs), which selectively reduce the reuptake of chemical serotonin in the neural cells. A reflex has to be passed on from the brain for a man to ejaculate. This message is passed by the central nervous system. The inhibition of serotonin prevents the release of the reflex from the brain, and therefore premature ejaculation occurs.
